The PD715 Ex handheld radios are fully compliant
with the ETSI standard for DMR. There is full compliance
with the European ATEX Directives, the FM standard, the
IEC standard.
Highlights:
Durability: Besides meeting the
requirements of the European ATEX and IEC Directives, as
well as the North-American FM standard, these radios are
compliant with the MIL-STD-810C/D/E/F/G standard and are
dust and water-resistant to protection class IP67.
Fail-safe: Low level battery protection will
automatically trigger an alarm so that errors of this
type cannot occur. A full intrinsically safe accessory
portfolio is available to improve your user experience.
Meticulous encapsulation: Radios and
batteries are encapsulated, all internal
switches are protected and sealed against
hazardous explosive gases and dust particles.
Battery latch: The battery locking
system makes for safe operation: if the radio falls onto
a hard surface, the battery cannot come off the unit.
Integrated GPS: The GPS module means that both radios
are able to send location data to a dispatcher system.
Upgradeable software: Upgradeable software helps to
extend the life of your handset. Access
enhanced encryption and Hytera DMR Trunking (Tier III)
via chargeable licenses at extra cost.
In-built safety features: GPS location services as
standard, the radio has also for lone worker, man down
and emergency mode.
Different digital and analogue modes: The PD715EX ATEX radio supports operation in DMR
trunked radio (DMR Tier III via chargeable license), XPT
Digital Trunking, Simulcast and MPT 1327.
Dustproof and waterproof: PD715EX ATEX handset is resistant
to water and dust in to protection class IP67 and withstand a water depth of one
meter for at least half an hour.
Ergonomic design: The PD795 Ex display is easy to see
even when there is a low ambience. The keys and
non-slip surface on the PD715EX ATEX ensures that it
can be reliably and safely operated, even when wearing
gloves.
